About Dr. Cappelletti

After graduation, Dr. Cappelletti served as the Official Chiropractor for Rice University Athletics. She had the honor of working with the student athletes at Rice that include: baseball, track and field, soccer, volleyball, golf, swimming, cheerleading, football, and tennis. Dr. Cappelletti also served as the Chiropractor for Houston Christian High School Athletes and treated tennis professionals at the Downtown Club at The Met in Houston. In her Austin office, Dr. Cappelletti works with active individuals of all ages and works with many professional athletes from various sports. She currently serves as the Official Chiropractor and Sports Medicine provider for many different professional tennis and golf organizations in Austin. 

Dr. Alyssa Cappelletti found a passion at a young age and began competing in female fitness competitions at the age of 16. Following her love for fitness and sports, Dr. Cappelletti attended Ball State University in 2015 and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Throughout her time at Ball State, Dr. Cappelletti learned corrective movement therapy and sport-specific biomechanical analysis, which she uses to treat her patients and athletes. Following her passion and furthering her education in sports and fitness, Dr. Cappelletti attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she graduated top of her class in 2022.

Outside of work, Dr. Cappelletti is a regular at the gym and enjoys weightlifting. She is also an avid golfer, plays tennis, loves taking her dog Carson on adventures and spending time with her friends and family. She currently runs with ATX Runners (The Ship) and RAW running.

The primary objective is diagnosing, treating, and managing both acute and chronic overuse sport injuries, alongside musculoskeletal conditions and movement dysfunctions. Our aim extends beyond mere pain relief; we strive for enhanced strength and mobility to optimize your performance.

Performance optimization is catered to individuals who are injury-free but seek proactive evaluation of nerve, joint, and muscle dysfunctions, with a focus on staying injury-free and enhancing athletic capabilities.
