Pes Anserine Bursitis

Pes anserine bursitis, also known as pes anserinus tendinobursitis, is a condition characterized by inflammation or irritation of the pes anserine bursa and associated tendons. The pes anserine bursa is located on the medial (inner) side of the knee, just below the joint line, where three tendons converge and insert onto the tibia (shinbone). This condition typically causes pain and discomfort on the inner aspect of the knee, especially with activities that involve bending the knee or putting pressure on it.
