Popliteal Bursitis

Popliteal bursitis, also known as Baker’s cyst, is a fluid-filled swelling that develops in the popliteal fossa, which is the hollow at the back of the knee joint. This condition arises when the bursa located there becomes inflamed and fills with excess synovial fluid, causing a bulge or cystic swelling.
