Facet Impingement Syndrome

Facet impingement syndrome in the neck, also known as cervical facet syndrome or cervical facet joint syndrome, involves pain and dysfunction arising from the facet joints in the cervical spine. The facet joints in the cervical spine become irritated, inflamed, or misaligned, leading to pain and restricted movement. It can be due to direct impingement of the joint structures or associated inflammation.
